Glentress: Meteorite Stane
Day three, a long journey from Gatehouse of Fleet to Glentress near Peebles. Of all the 7 Stane centres, this was the busiest due no doubt to being readily accessible from Edinburgh. It was also the hardest work, although there were some exhilarating downhill stretches.
Ae: Whispering Head Stane
On the way back from Glentress, we passed Ae.
Well it would be rude not to visit the trail, especially since we had been sitting in the car so long. It was a pleasant evening, and we seemed to be miles from anywhere.
