Firebug – Web Development Evolved is one of those add-ons to Firefox that has a serious “wow” factor – at least for web junkies like me. Not only do you get to explore the code behind a website (including scripts, the DOM and CSSs) it gives a time line of how long it takes to upload items from the website.
SIMILE | Exhibit 2.0 is a way of generating interesting data-driven applications. I’m investigating it right now – my challenge, to get a proof of concept up by lunchtime!
