I like Scotland – a friend has a cottage there that we have had the opportunity to rent during the last few summers.
I also started cycling – and decided that visiting each of the 7 Stanes would be a suitable challenge. To be fair, I am not a mountain biker – I prefer canal towpaths, somewhat flatter and generally not very scary.
However, hiring some bikes we headed off to find the stanes.
